Hellboy
is a 2004 supernatural action-thriller film directed by Guillermo del Toro. The film is based on the Dark Horse Comics work Hellboy: Seed of Destruction by Mike Mignola. It was produced by Revolution Studios, and distributed by Columbia Pictures. Released in 2004, it grossed $60 million at the U.S. box office, and $100 million worldwide[1] and was favorably received by critics.
